I'm making a free flock management system

After much thinking I've decided to transition the GUI to use wxPython.

PROS:
1. It will be a little faster on Windows
2. It looks much better on Windows
3. It works on Mac
4. Only one installer to run - with the old way there was four
5. You wont have to edit an environment variable when installing

CONS:
1. I'll have to rewrite almost all the code already written.

I'll try hard, but I may not have the final version finished by the goal date of May 1st because of this change. Just thought I would let everyone know.
ETA: I need ideas for what info to display on the start tab. What does everyone think should be shown?

I agree there are more pros than cons....

and I think more people will use it.

For Start tab(I envision the following as buttons on the "page"):

Enter Bird information(goes to data entry for chicken)
Enter Hatch information(goes to data entry for hatch)
Enter Costs information(goes to data entry for costs(feed, feeders, waterers, egg cartons, etc.) how much and what price)
Enter Sales information(goes to data entry for sales(birds, eggs, manure, etc.))

Is this what you're looking for?

Edited to change feed costs to general costs and add some other examples

I would like it available as an iphone app.....and a place to include a picture of each bird, distiguishing marks, DOB, Date first egg laid, purchase dates for food, supplies, initial set up costs, egg inventory, cull date, etc...

Got another idea: I could make a website the size of the iphone's screen. Flock Manager Live.

The Iphone does have a web browser, right?
