I'm making a free flock management system

To recap for those who are new to this thread, I'm in the process of writing a free flock management system, which will eventually be a part of BackYardChickens.

One thing i would like to add about the Web based version is that if, (i am gonna say a server?) the server crashed or was down for what ever reason, you would not have access to the manager.

I would actually prefer a web based program. Where you have a login and a password and can login to edit or add more info, etc.

all done, my big peeve with other software out there is, if there is an update or a fix you need to re-enter all the info again

, I'd like both online and off like input, then I could take my laptop with me add, go online, and it syncs
