I would like to see something simple to use and user friendly. I would like included in it
Egg count per day per chicken and total
Hatching record to include date parents that way I can see what matches are good ones
For meat birds wieght at butchering.
A record of feed costs
Chicken ailments and cures
Worming schedule
molt record
In short just a way to keep track of my birds and laying meat and health issues
Ours isn't free, but it is inexpensive at $9.99 and features tracking of finances, production (meat milk & egg), breeding (show animals available for breeding too), track male and female breeding records, record shows, medication followups and vet visits, animal inventory and it's for more than just chickens. It's online and your data is backed up daily.

Not trying to hijack the thread but just point out our solution.
As far as molting we keep track by simply using colored pull ties on the legs for each years chickens so when know when it time for some new birds and who goes first. Each year or season gets a different color. Works pretty well.
