Yep, so I could look at it today and see that my oldest chickens are 40 weeks this week, my next group is about 16 weeks, and the youngest are 14 weeks.
Automatically calculated so that I don't have to input every week on the calendar manually! Bleh.

I would adore this - don't forget to have an option for folks to donate, people like to support those who are doing great work.

Ideas from our Grange:

feed calculators (take information from database as per: # of birds, respective ages, bird weight and protein level x time selected (i.e. weekly, monthly, etc.)
various feed recipes, with an option for unique/custom ones
option for tracking #s for those who don't give their birds names, but use flock numbering
differentiation between meat birds and layers
Wish List option (hey come on, you know we're always thinking of our next order)
customer order tracking (for those of us who sell eggs and birds)

I want it all!!!!!

I want # of eggs laid/day/week/month and temperature on those days then average temp per week/month

Band color or #/date of hatch/date of first eggs and of course their breed

# Of eggs incubated/ bought (from whom and how much $)/ or from my stock/ date in/date of lockdown/date of hatch/how many hatched/what the percentage is

Feed cost and how many pounds bought= price per egg

# Of birds of laying age

Productivity Rate (# birds/ # eggs or something like that)

Week/Monthly/Annual expenses

I would like to keep track of my egg customers (names and phone #s)and a calendar for the deliveries

I would like to be able to edit the info I put in (corrections)

I looked at Steve's 2010 Chicken Tracker and it has a lot of what I want. It is easy to use and I have already started filling it in. (A little scary to see how much those eggs are really costing me)

I don't know how to do what you are trying to do so I will just say thank you for being willing to create and share.

My husband always asks me how it feels to want.........................then he helps me figure out how to get it done.
