I'm making this for all my questions

I have been having a lot of questions regarding my broody hen and her polish chicks recently, because for some reason they seem a lot more stressful than my silkie chicks, and instead of making 50 different threads a week I am just going to make this thread.

My current question is, when will my hen take her chicks out of the coop? She has had them since Thursday and has only taken them out of the nest boxes to walk around the coop and then takes them back to the nest. She also keeps pooping in the nest box so I have to keep cleaning it up. Why?

Are there other chickens in with the hen and chicks?

No, they are outside while I am at school and then I open the door when I get home But my other two chickens which are silkies also will occasionally just walk up the ramp, look at the chicks and come over to greet them and check on Raven a then go back down.

She might wait a few days. Each Hen has her own way of caring for her Chicks. Soon enough you will see her out and about.

You have a Ramp so that could be the issue...

Yeah, I had thought about that. I also thought about taking Raven and the chicks out myself, but I don't want to disturb her.
