Hello and welcome to BYC!

Congrats on the new babies, but I am sorry about your sexlink. You will need to get vitamins into this little one. Especially the vitamins B, E and Selenium. Many times hatchlings not only suffer from the stress of shipment, but have vitamin deficiencies that show up with severe weakness. And the neck seems to get it the worst. Go to your feed store and see if you can find any Sav a Chick vitamins or any poultry vitamins will do. Poly-Vi-Sol for poultry is great. Get this one on some of this and it won't hurt the entire brood on them as well. If this little one is really bad off in that he can't drink or eat easily, separate him from the others so he doesn't get trampled. You can also give him a bit more heat, a few extra degrees. Sick babies often get cold. Getting vitamins into weak babies can many times heal them up quick.

Also, some chopped up hard boiled eggs are great for sick babies. They eat them readily and it can jump start their blood sugar and appetite.

Good luck with your babies! And keep us posted!

Welcome to BYC. I agree with TwoCrows in that vitamins and electrolytes may help your chick. Sometimes the stress of shipping is just too much for their systems to withstand.

Hi. Can u plz tell me how to get my chicks pictures up loaded to this site.
Easy peasy....All you have to do is, while in this reply box, click on that little icon at the top that looks like a scene (2 to the left of the smile face) and says Insert Image, and that will lead you to your files here or on your pc. Click on the tab that says Upload Files and you can pick pics from your pc. Enter submit and then submit this post at the bottom. :)
