I'm New Around Here.

I'm not very good at starting a thead so I just copied and posted these questions they gave me to give me an idea what to say to introduce myself.

So here it goes.....

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes I am very new to having chicken although my fiance has had some experience with raising egg laying chickens.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We curgently have 3 chickens but we are going to get 3 more hopefully tomorrow.

(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a Leghorn, a Barred Rock, and a Golden Comet.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I searched for information about raising our baby chicks and this website was the only one that has great advice and answers on raising them the right way.

(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a CNA my fiance is a professional painter. We have 2 boys ages 2 and 7. We have 2 inside cats and 1 dog.[/QUOTE
