Yes it definatly looks pekin. And no they will do great mixed with other breeds. They dont have to be same breed to get along.
I ordered mine from metzer farms. It has about the best repuation when it comes to geese and ducks.
The reason i ordered is because i wanted girl ducks.
Last time i bought from tractor supply everyone was a boy.
Boys typically fight with each other. And we wanted eggs.
And you cant keep multiple boys with too few girls. They will overbreed and can injure and even kill the girls.
So if you want more breeds and want girls its safest to order sexed females. Its a little more money. I paid $10 per duckling when i ordered 10 but it was well worth it to me to get exactly the breeds and sex that i wanted.
