I'm new, due to have chicks in three days!

I have three eggs incubating, they're due to hatch on Saturday! I just have a feeling I'm not going to get anything, I've tried shinning a light but can't see anything at all in them!

Good luck on the hatch. Don't get too bummed yet. My first hatch I was sure was a bomb, but I had a great hatch. All of a sudden chicks started pipping and zipping! I was so excited! So hang in there. And if the hatch doesn't go well, then use it as a learning experience for the next.

Did you buy fertile eggs, or have a rooster and used your own?

I bought Fertilised. Is that better?

Either way is fine (buying eggs or using from your own flock). But sometimes hatch rates decrease on shipped eggs due to the way they were handled during shipping.

Don't worry too much, hopefully your hatch will go just fine. Keep us posted.

It looks like I have two viable eggs, D day tomorrow! I just know I won't sleep tonight waiting for the two fluffs to arrive!

I'm not going to be completely able to relax till they're both hatched and chirping!
