You may be newer to the forum, but you're more experienced with the birds than me. Won't get my chicks till March. I'm only a little bit jealous, I still have work to do on my coop and run before it's ready for residents.

Welcome to the forum! There's overload of information here, if you read it all, you won't have a life. But there are pearls of wisdom all over the place if you look for them. Have fun.

from ms!! I'm not sure about the cold but I do know some people on here but lights in their coop and leave them on a few extra hours after dark so the hens are tricked into laying
