I'm new to posting! (Been reading for a long time.)

Hi! My name is Sam.

I have been reading and using BYC for a number of years, but I have just created my account today.

I have had a small flock for about 5 years, since we first moved to Denver. Until this spring, we have had around 6, but we built a new coop and run this year, so now we have 13! We have: EE's, BO's, a Gold Laced Wyandotte, a Wellsummer, a Cochin, a Brahma, a RIR, a Cinnamon Queen, and a sassy Barred Plymouth Rock.

I LOVE my little hennies! We have a gorgeous coop and run, a sizeable veggie garden, and a lot of space for our two rescue pit bulls to romp and run. When I am not in the back yard with all of the loves, I can usually be found running or cycling in the mountains.

My hubbs and I moved to Denver from L.A., and we couldn't be happier! If there are any owners in the Denver area, please share! I love to talk chickens all day, all night!
