Im new to showing how should I prepare!?

Hello, I am used to showing dairy goats, but I recently got into silkies, and would like to know some ways I could prepare my hens, or how I can get ready for my own showmanship. (If there is showmanship) I am bringing a white silkie, and am kind of stressing over how to transport her, and if the stress will kill her. She has been in the car before, but not for long periods of time. I also don’t know if there is any grooming that needs to be done or, trimming. Any advice will help!
