Hey, I'm Janae and I'm 16. I'm in the Glastonbury FFA and I'm so exited to finally have an account on BYC. I currently have 2 Rhode Island reds 1 dark cornish, 2 Orphington mixes, a fawn and white runner and a blue runner! I always get my unanswered questions answered here and I hope to be able to answer other peoples questions.

Nice to meet you Janae, Welcome to the Backyard chickens flock. BYC also has threads for ducks, geese, quail, guineas - you get my drift. You may want to check out the "Duck thread." Maybe you can answer my questions. Do runner ducks, run like heck rather than fly? My other question would be are Call ducks, very noisy?

I have seen photos and videos of runner ducks, I get a kick out of their very upright stance.
