This isn’t really gardening but need answers. I have yellow jackets swarming my feeder and deterring my hummingbirds from visiting. We have traps hung but they’re going to the feeder instead. Has anyone had any luck keeping them away? Send me all your tips and tricks please!

Do your feeders have yellow on them? It can be an attracting color for the pests you're trying to repel. What sort of feeders do you have? They have feeders with ports that are usable by hummingbirds but can't be accessed by insects because of the length of the port, or you can get attachments that are called B guards that actually fit over it and accomplish the same thing by making it impossible for the insects to reach the food but the birds can still with their long beak and tongue

Try moving the feeder a few paces away from its current position? You might need to move it back and forth once they re-discover it but it should throw the bugs off for a while.
