Hi, and welcome. I'm in the same boat as you, still waiting on my flock. But I feel MUCH more prepared for them since being part of this forum. And the little devil chicken sitting on my shoulder is telling me I may need to get a bator, too - ACK!

Just wanted to say welcome. You will love this site, and you'll have a hard time staying off of it, at least I do.

I have learned so much about chickens.

And when these people say they are enablers, believe them.

We started out with 7 show chickens for my son in 4-H. Now I have the bug and I have 4 RIR banties, and 3 2-1/2 mo layers (1 buff orpington, 1 barred rock and a red sex-link). I am already making plans for at least 3 more layers.
