Hi there, I'm very new to this too, and one of my 4 chicks, 12 days old, has started rapidly shaking it's head, and then turning to peck over it's shoulder, near the top of it's wing. Any ideas why? It also has a mild case of pasty butt, which I'm cleaning regularly with a warm cloth. Have also noticed in the last day or two, the other 3 seem to chase it around the brooder quite a bit. When I pick it up, the head shaking stops and it falls quickly asleep in my hand.
