Leslie, Arkansas
I teach first grade in Clinton, Arkansas and have had chickens for the last several years. This past school year I adopted a Leopard Gecko for a classroom pet and had to purchase mealworms for him. Living in a rural area of Leslie, Arkansas, it was quite a trip to go get them when he was out, when my husband suggested raising them. I looked up how to videos and am raising my worms! Lots of people that posted commentaries, directions, and videos said that they gleaned much of their information from this site, so here I am!

Hi, welcome to BYC!

My oldest son used to have a Leopard Gecko (as well as a lot of other reptiles & amphibians), interesting little critters. In addition to mealworms, he used to use crickets for food for several of his 'pets', have you tried raising those too?

What breed(s) of chickens do you have? They love mealworms and crickets too.
