That’s insane to me. It’s 15 miles to the closest police station and I think we’ve only got two (maybe 3) in the whole county. And that’s with us being relatively high crime for a rural area (lots and lots of drug activity). The closest school is k-12 in the same building single level. I believe it was built in the 60s.

At first I read this as all one building. k-12 school and cop shop all rolled into one.

Every town here has their own police station hahah and we have separate schools for everything. We have a preK-2nd and then 3rd through 5th, then it was 6th-8th but now it’s 6th-12 but they’re on opposite sections and only share gym and library. The town next to me had multiple elementary and high schools because it’s HUGE. Z

Not for the town of less than 500. The school is in the next town over which has a population of about 1,200. The kids in our town have the option of going to that one or the much larger school to the south and lots of students transfer back and forth since both schools suck.

We have almost 16000 people or I guess the town we moved from hah I still consider it my town. The town I’m in now is like 13000. Plymouth is almost 61,000

My high school was 2400 kids. My kid's High school is 5600.

Hello.
I have a little bit of a complicated personality... I've been told...
I'm a teen, under 18. My mental age is much older. I care too much about safety, I've been told. Yes, bicycles are dangerous, don't lean over the barriers, don't climb on that, don't of o that it's not safe... and yes I do take a first aid kit to school.
On the forum, I seem to be a little more immature, because I have fun here.

Meanwhile ours is huge and they actually just built this new one a few years ago well, I guess maybe 10 years ago according to Google (man, I’m old ) and the new fire station not long before that. Spent 6+ million on the police station and idek how much for the fire station. Millions on a new high school too which they finished in 2014. Combined high school and middle school. Teared down the old one and built an athletic complex instead.

In the next town over the police department and bank are in the same building. I guess it deters robbers
