i'm not sure if my chick has been drinking

I got two chicks yesterday and they are about 2-3 days old. I have seen one of them drink but /i have not witnessed the other drinking, she seems perfectly healthy and i've dipped her beak in the water to show it to her but i'm not sure.

If it were not drinking, I would expect it to be standing around, looking pathetic, and giving a distressed peep. If you ever hear that distressed peep, you know what it is. It is a pitiful sound.

If it is active and running around, it is drinking.

yeah, she follows her friend around everywhere and does almost everything her friend does, she's probably just drinking when i'm not watching.
