I got some japanese bantams from cackle hatchery and they are about 6-7 weeks old at the moment, they seem healthy and lively, they have been eating well and drinking normally, I keep their box warm and clean, but last night I looked in their box and noticed some bloody...poo...they don't act like anything is wrong except for that...most of it looks normal except a few spots around the brooder and I'm not sure which one is doing it.

Can anyone give me some advice as to what this could be? I read it could be coccidiosis or however you spell it but they really don't act sick... if it is can someone tell me how to treat/ prevent it? And are my chickens going to die? I'm really worried!

Don't panic! I know my birds will sometimes have a little bloody poo. I also know chickens shed intestinal lining on a regular basis. It could just be something normal.

Keep an eye on them and if it gets worse or symptoms change, get some Corid (feed store)...

Thank you!!! I'm just really worried about them D: they are like my little youngins!! <3 I've been giving them gatoraid and medicated food, they don't seem to be acting abnormal just the bloody..poo..

I understand! You can't help but love 'em! - And it seems your giving them good care

I would be careful with the Gatoraide, maybe water it down just a bit, it has a lot of salt in it. I read somewhere to be careful with giving chickens too much salt...
- You can go to the feed store and get electrolytes called poly-visol (without iron) or rooster booster - gatoraide for chickens :)

The good thing is - your chicks are past the delicate stage, now they are a little stronger..... Just keep an eye and get Corid if you need it... I'll check back tomorrow!
