that is just the way it is. i am not sorry, i look at it like the weak will be culled. that's just life.

i thought all in all, it was really good for my first try.

Sorry to hear about the 2 losses, Miss_Jayne. But such is life.

But we need a chick breakdown...how many of which breeds did ya end up with?

My guys are a week old now, and I can already tell boys from girls on most all of them. That's another great advantage with Dellies...quick growers!

Good luck with all your little ones! Goodness knows you've got lots of chicks to keep you busy this winter!

yes, got some delahorns...4 of them! 4 out of 5 is pretty good odds!

they look the same as the delewares so far, but i will be keeping an eye out for differences!
