I'm over-thinking this?

Their coop materials are on the way...I'll be assembling it this weekend, so they will be out of the house soon and away from strings and fuzz...they are just toddlers I guess and curious. That's probably a good thing.
 
Don't worry when you move them outside the fuzz eating will subside and they will behave like normal chickens, they aren't obsessed they're just pecking at what's always been available, your socks. It does need to cease though the fibers can cause blockages and enough of them could even starve them. Get them outside asap so they can acclimate and so your lungs and electronics can catch a break. :)
 
Got it. Thank you! It definitely has been a learning experience for me-becoming familiar with chick behaviour - their mannerisms and preferences. Chick behaviour is actually pretty interesting to observe!
