I'm probably crazy but I'm going to try hatching a egg with my body heat. Hatch-Along

Chickens will definitely imprint on you if you are the first living being they see for like the first day.
I had five little cuties I got in the mail in 2020, more importantly during COVID lockdown, that I spent like 8+ hours a day outside with. They definitely imprinted on me and I was for sure not the first being they saw. They would follow me around and cheep for me when they couldn’t see me, that’s probably one of the reasons I spent so much time with them! They only stopped at night! (even then they weren’t totally quiet about it)

They’re the ones in my profile pic

That's awesome, I've never had shipped chicks imprint on me.

Here is my friendliest chicken. I hand raised all of them last July. She LOOOOVES me, and when I go out to the run, will follow me and wait for me to take out my folding stool so she can nap on my lap. I think I imprinted on her. She had a horrible go w pasty butt & I always had her out for handling and cuddling until she dried off. She’s the most lovable of all my chickens! Now when she is up on my lap, I usually get a second chicken to jump up for awhile. (She’s the one sleeping on the left…snuggly little Basil!)

She's adorable! Barred rock I'm guessing. It always makes me sad when I go into tractor supply and all the chicks have severe cases of pasty butt, it makes me want to take all the pasty butts home to wash them and get them the care they need.
