Do it!She's adorable! Barred rock I'm guessing. It always makes me sad when I go into tractor supply and all the chicks have severe cases of pasty butt, it makes me want to take all the pasty butts home to wash them and get them the care they need.
I can't because my space limit and there are always like 45 chicks with it.Do it!
I figured. Not a chance of getting like 10?I can't because my space limit and there are always like 45 chicks with it.
Thank you! Yup! She’s one of my 3 barred rocks. They seem to be a super friendly breed, although all of mine are great around people and generally won’t run away if you move slowly around them. We got her from a local breeder, and she was fine the first day, but we had to drive 90 minutes to pick her up & I think she got stressed from the drive and being in the box. She's adorable! My chicks didn't become friendly until they started laying at 20 weeks old. That's awesome, I've never had shipped chicks imprint on me.
