Maybe a barred rock or black sexlink if its one of those it will 90 percent be a male. It could easily be a mix though. Australorps also a guess

thank you! I also wondered about a Sussex? Because of all the yellow/white on the face. chick also has a black line down the breast.

Thank you SO much everyone!!! I thought barred at first but being new to all this I wasn't for sure. Heck for a moment I thought I might have had a sebright. wishful thinking I suppose. Either way its sweet.

A bird with a white/cream head spot at hatch has genes for barring or cuckoo pattern. I'm thinking barred rock.
