I buy dog food by the 50 lbs and both the dog food and the chicken feed come in PAPER, but I do use both for trash since we have to haul our trash to the convience center, Your bags look super.

that my feed comes in paper or I would borrow your idea!
Here's an idea of mine: You could make aprons, too. Great for covering up clothing during a quick run to the coop.

Nutrena and FRM have plastic bags now, luckily thats what my local feed stores distribute. The nutrena bags are cute beige and purple with a chick on them. I have been using these plastic ones as morning shade cover on my chicken runs, it works great as shade cloth.

I actually am going to be making an apron out of one! I have had this green & beige plaid like fabric laying around forever, so i'm going to use that as a backing. I will def post a pic of that after I make it!

this is the most recent one, it's a different design - I'm always messing with stuff. they'll probably keep evolving with everyone that I make. I think this design will be pretty good. I double stitched everything, should be nice & strong.

yeah I know we had one we used for shade and cover over our duck pen worked great. I have to ask some of the farmers around if they still have any...
Just got to find a sewing machine that works, mine went south a couple years ago
