I'm scared of my rooster and I don't have a reason to be

My roo is good to his flock. He acts all big and bad, trying to stomp at me, but I stomp back and he runs. He gets no attention other than to feed/water. I firmly believe animals know if you are scared. Be confident, don't try to be friends, and he may eventually leave you alone.

I know this is an older post but get yourself a clear umbrella. Open it and keep it between you and the rooster or who ever is giving you stink eye. You can see him and if he flies at you the umbrella will block him. As you get more confident leave it closed, it still makes a good get along stick. We used this for geese but in the old days umbrellas were not clear easier with clear
