Im seriously loosing hope

The thing about my hen, is her bumblefoot is like diffrent. Every time we dig through it we get to flesh. And it never helps.
I had this issue with Niederheiners once they were full grown. There was bumblefoot initially then thickening and hardening of the foot pad that made them limp. Assuming bumblefoot again I’d soak and remove the scab to find it is not bumblefoot.
My best advice is to fashion cushioned shoes. What I did every two weeks: wash and dry well. Make sure to get under any callus folds in the crease between the toes and footpad. Apply a nonmedicated cushioned corn pad or two if she’s very heavy (8+lbs) over the area- no ointment- and wrap with coban or vet wrap to secure. I applied vaseline to the tops of toe scales and shanks before applying the coban as a moisture barrier preventative, and my girls seemed to enjoy the spa treatment. the foot issue improved with off loading the body weight but never fully healed—the girls lived out their lives with these new ā€˜boots’. Good luck to you.

Thank you, yeah that seems to be my problem. Im so tired of dealing with this though, she also does not enjoy it anymore, she use to sit and sleep. Now she is wiggling and just wants to be done.

Understand. Using a calming, soothing voice when working with her helps to calm them. Speak or sing softly. Don't work on her when you're in a hurry or frustrated. She doesn't want to be going through the process anymore than you do. Patience is necessary with bumblefoot.
