but i might just throw them 2 duck eggs away and get another 2 duck eggs

To be honest I only went through all that as I got them as a surprise and they are highly sought after. Out of six I lost two and had to wax that one. Only three made it through shipping. Came in a second hand incubator I bought. Four out of four then hatched. Was very lucky!

Okay, I have pictures when he was hatch, but he's almost dry now. I'll have to go take a few more!

Um Question. When do I move them to the brooder? When they are dry and complety fluffy?

I'm going to sign off, got three kids (only usually just my daughter) running around tomorrow and have to reorganise the chick shed, they growing out very quickly! I went out last night to check them after dark and they were all roosting on the side of the brooder with a line of chick poo on the shed floor. It's nice and clean again now but really have to get building in there and get some permanent set up! They'll love me for it hopefully!

Remove to brooder when mainly dry (they won't dry completely in incubator) and when no others are zipping. If you see pips that's ok, just get organised and go for it quickly.
