yeah i tried to warn my friend that is going to get chickens about leghorns but i guess she will have to learn the hard way

I LOVE cochins though, right? They're SO sweet. I fell for a "hen" but it was a rooster and I had to give it away to a good friend who is now moving, and I'm going today to go visit him before they leave. I'm so sad.

oh i love cochins so sweet and pretty.i could send you cochin bantam eggs but they would be a hybrid between a minorca type chickens and a partridge cochin bantam

sorry, but I HATE minorcas. I think I'll just get mutt eggs from the flock of the person who's leaving because my roo that I gave to her, Sweet Pea, is the only roo in her flock. So, then I'll have PART of him at my house if the egg is a hen.....

well both the ones i can candle are fertile but thats only to eggs the rest are speckled and you cant realy tell
