Just an update: Jeanie is out of the hospital in the care of my Mother who is a Nurse. She still is on IV antibiotics and has a pik line and has to have heparin injections as well as wet-to-dry dressing changes on the wound every other day (I think). Tomorrow she has her fifth surgery scheduled to clean some dead tissue out of her chest wound. They are putting her completely under to "explore" the area a little further. My Mom is an excellent nurse but when it came time for her to do this on her own Granddaugther she broke out in hives she was so nervous. Poor Momma!

Anyway Jeanie is on the mend and hopefully can go off the antibiotics in two to three weeks!
