I'm Sick Sick Sick.....

I have been working on my new brooder all day and in the back of my head - I'm thinking hmmm - if I get this done - I could buy a bator -I wonder how long until it would get here - I wonder if I ordered some eggs (just a few practice ones mind you) if they would get here about the same time - If I order all of this next week would that batch of chicks be out of my new brooder before the next batch got here in April? Hmmm. How many chickens would I have if... OH NO! Hmmm - if I added another coop then I could divide it up and then hmmm - if I moved my clothesline the run could be bigger - and then when my Marans eggs arrived....

This is sick sick sick - someone is going to turn me in to that horrible "Hoarders" show - my husband is going to shoot me - my refrigerator is going to be full of eggs - my freezer full of roosters - hmmm - I wonder if the bator and the eggs would get here about the same time?

Laney - HA! My husband asked me about the bators I accidentally left up on the screen yesterday - I said "I was just looking to see what an incubator looked like" - He caught me looking at eggs a few days ago - a tweaked version of the same tale.

Until there is peeping coming from the laundry room - he won't know what hit him

- this is the man who thought yarn was a buck a skein until very recently - he said "I will admit I have enough car parts - if you will admit you have enough yarn" I said "Look Sanford - your car parts haven't made me a scarf lately" - I've got to get a lot of chickens to get that same deal - but I figure I can say his car parts haven't made me breakfast lately either!

His biggest issue with the chickens so far is heartbreak - the great dog chicken massacre of August just about did us both in.
