For financial reasons I had to make the choice to down size my flock.
I decided to sell 5 of my older hens and 2 roos.
They went to a gal locally and I am sure that they will well taken care of. She wants them as company for her 2 young buff orps, and she is hoping perhaps they will set for her this summer. I think it is a project that she and her grandson are doing together. What fun for them! I am glad they have gone to a good home.
I so wanted to talk to her about BYC and share the fun exciting site with her.............I just wasn't sure if she would have been receptive to joining up or even lurking. I wish I could have read her better and I should have said something anyway.

That's it!, I'm going to call her today and see how the chickens are settling in and just tell her all about BYC! I'm going to wipe out the shame!
