I'm so bummed. I broke a egg

Couldnt the teacher have just used a chart!!!!!!!!

Geez I can see maybe doing that in like a college bio lab, but that is really disturbing for a little kid to see.

I am so sorry that this happened, but wow what an amazing picture. That is really incredible to see. Did your EE egg just look like a blob? I have two that look almost infertile and they are on day 7.

I couldn't see anything inside egg before it dropped off candler. I have been trying to find another way to make a candler that will see better into ee eggs and be more stable. I will try again on Day 10 - I've read that it is easier then. I'm worried that not all my ee eggs in bator won't be fertile and a couple may have got a little too cold? before I collected them . I hope that wasn't the only one that was good.

If you ain't broke an egg you probably haven't seen one...There somewhat egg shaped /come in colors and easy to BREAK...It may be the first you broke /it will not be the last.If you handle eggs you will break some.Even Brood hens break them....cva34

RELAX its OK

So sorry this happened! I am afraid it comes with the territory once you get the incubating addiction, though. I always hate, hate, hate when I make a mistake and the cost is a potential chicken life.

Feeling for you here!

Thanks. I've cracked and broke lots of eggs in the past but doing my first hatch with homemade bator and trying to do everything right is tuff. lol
