I'm so disapointed.

Out of 25 Lav Orp eggs (shipped from 2 diff breeders) only 8 are going into lock down, and I'm not sure that I shouldn't have pulled a few more. I don't candle them till just before lockdown, so I had to pull them all today. I don't know how you keep doing this, it breaks my heart

to put my hopes on these shipped eggs and them maybe not get anything. Over half the ones pulled were clear, the rest early quiters.

I guess I'll have to think about some very long road trips to pick up my eggs or try shipped chicks, but it would be even worse to have dead chicks arrive

It can be frustrating. As far as chicks, I found they arrive alive usually. I did lose a couple in the first week though.
