HOLY COW!! I just bought a Dickey incubator AND Dickey hatcher off CL for $350 TOTAL!!

They didn't have the instruction manuals, and the temps and humidity are set for emu eggs. Should I just start messing with the adjustments until I get good numbers on the temp/humidity, or does someone on here have some magical pearl of wisdom for me?? Thanks!!!

THANKS!! I know, I still can't believe the find!! I had to do a major overhaul of the chick/dog room so they'd have a place to go!! Talk about motivation for throwing away old junk I really don't need!!

It only takes a few minutes to figure out which way to turn it to increase temperature. Just play with it until you get everything how you want it. Keep in mind that some of the ratite incubators are made for lower emps and will not get hot enough for chickens. If that's the case you would have to change the thermostat.
