I'm so glad I've stopped eating chicken

Do you sqeamish people have any idea what crabs, lobsters and many fish eat? And they are all delicious in my book. So is chicken. To each his own.

Well and some folks call lobsters "cockroaches of the sea" - and all crabs, shrimp and lobsters are are glorified water bugs themselves. LOL

Actually, if you watched any food product being prepared for market, and I do mean any food product at all, if you are squeamish you wouldn't eat it. And that's a fact. Thankfully, I am not squeamish.

I would not mind it with my own chickens,but my kids won't let me eat them. I won't eat CAFO meat of any kind anymore regardless of what they are fed.

People are really freaking over maggots? Don't they know pretty much all the CAFO meat they buy has feces on it? Lol,the things people freak on??!!?!?!

Jeez, better stop eating meat period then, because I've seen cows eat things that aren't exactly appetizing. Pigs too.

Oddly enough I have eaten more chicken since I got my chickens than I ever did. Even stopped at a local kfc for a 3 piece meal when I brought them home so it was cooked chicken in the front life chickens in the back. Having seen here how good silkies are at brooding I am going to let her sit on some meat bird eggs to raise and process my own meat. As a meat eater I should be willing to do this or be a hypocrite.

RHRanch those are bottom eaters and if you research what they eat and the likes of catfish you wouldn't eat them. BTW if your hens free range then they are already are eating maggots, how do I know? have you ever seen flies on "organic fertilizer" remember these are family friendly forums I usually see flies on them where do flies come from? Here is your sign....
