Well, I'm sure hoping everything went well!! i had to get up & speak too at our city council meeting, i thought i was gonna pass out & die

....lol, and i thought i did awful, but all the people said i did a great job, so i know you did too! now its like after 1:00am here now, so when i get back on here tomorrow, i really hope & pray to see some good news!

Well, I didn't do anything embarrassing

I managed to introdice myself and what our group is doing. There were about 25 of us and it was a planning session, so nothing confrontational

It was also a good learning experience for me. I did speak up during the discussion a couple of times too and I think that what I said made sense!! It actually went pretty well, although it was exhausting because I was so wound up for most of it. When I got home I had to wind down, then I clunked right out!!

Good for you! Public speaking can be tough, but so worthwhile to advocate for something you really believe in. I hope you're really proud of yourself!
