I wasn't much of a Tammy fan! But I woke in the middle of the night recently to the TV on, and Charlton Heston fighting with Chuck Conners. No shirts, Sigh!

The Big Country with Burl Ives. The fight I remember was Charlton Heston and Gregory Peck.

I loved Boxing Matches back in those days. They just don't make fighters like they used to. Those Matches were a sight to see!

My dad was so convinced that fight was fixed. Of course he also swore the moon landing was faked... so take that as you will

Sad we lost Eric Fleming so early in his career.

Going to the drive -in and watching 4 movies and a bunch of cartoons for $1.00 per car. Buying a coke and a bag of popcorn for .50c in the concession stand at intermission.
Now you go to the movies,see 1 movie for $8.00 and pay $1.00 for two pieces of popcorn.

My Daddy was an Old School Southern Gentleman. In the 70's during the gas shortage, when lines to the service stations reached way back, he noticed an Older Lady waiting in line, about to enter the service station. There was a man in a truck, trying to bully his way in front of her. He was busy yelling and inching his truck in, when he turned to see what was tapping on his window. It was Daddy, with a pistol, telling him "the line Is back there". The man in the truck decided to go to the back of the line.

thats cheap! Here the tickets are at least $12-$15 and the popcorn you would NEVER get for $1. It’s anywhere from like $8 to $10 or more. And soda is probably at least $5.
