Yea. The first thing I did when we bought our house in TN was to step off the sidewalk and tumble into almost the neighbors yard. No more steep places in my yard here in AL. This was once a farm and there are a few terraces but not so bad I can mow them with the John Deere rider.

I remember being in the big Northridge, CA earthquake in 1992. It was scary. No power, no gas, gas stations were on fire, buildings were on top of cars.

I think it was common sense

I remember the worry about JFK getting elected by a lot of people that liked him. They were worried about him taking orders from the Pope instead of the American people.
