I'm so old I Remember when:

I remember the house of one set of grandparents had no electricity and an outhouse. No indoor plumbing at all. Drinking water was a bucket on the back porch with a gourd dipper. There were no electric lines and no telephone lines. Light at night was from kerosene lanterns.

• Phone booths - and calls were a dime.
• Photo mat booths - and it took weeks to get your photos back.
• Black and white TV with 8 channels and rabbit ear antennas.
• Movie theaters that always played double-features.
• Winter boots that were "slickers" - you put your foot in, shoes and all. Mom slipped an old bread bag over your shoe so you could get your foot in.
• The Pledge of Allegence, every morning, in school
• Manual typewriters, taking note hand, being graded on cursive penmanship

Who knows what this is?
