Are you up to your behind in snow right now?Central southern Michigan, about 15 miles from the Michigan Indiana line.
I am sorry for your loss.Sounds awesome! Brings back memories... My Dh#1 and I joined a little religious group traveling through Manzanola, CO in 1974, and they had a unicorn hitch. Traveler was the lead horse, an American Saddlebred if memory serves. King and Mr Ed were the wheel horses. I learned not only to drive that team, at age 21, but to harness them as well. We travelled through five states before I suffered a miscarriage and became too ill to travel, ending up in Hamilton, MT. What an experience!
My mom always used those paper bags to cover our school books in. I remember watching her and thinking it was like magic, how she could make a paper bag fit a science or math book. Then when we got to school, we were allowed to decorate themRemember when groceries came home in ... wait for it ... brown paper bags? Mom would give us crayons and let us draw faces on them. Then she'd cut out eyes in them, and on the sides she cut scoops for our shoulders. We'd put them on and chase each other around for hours, playing "monster." What fun! That was for rainy days. Sunny day fun involved cardboard boxes and forts made of plywood and lumber scraps and bricks dad brought home from his construction jobs. We were rich, nobody else had toys like ours!
You Mom was nice. My Mom made US cover them.My mom always used those paper bags to cover our school books in. I remember watching her and thinking it was like magic, how she could make a paper bag fit a science or math book. Then when we got to school, we were allowed to decorate them
With six kids, it was easier for her to do them than try and teach all of us. She could whip out 30 books so fastYou Mom was nice. My Mom made US cover them.
How exactly do cows predict the weather? Our dairy cows were pretty accurate as well.
Thank you.I am sorry for your loss.
This is right now in our backyard. Are you up to your behind in snow right now?
It depended some on how much time they spent in the pasture versus the barnyard during the day. Sometimes we had to chase them to the field and at other times they went on their own.How exactly do cows predict the weather?
