So... Through all my ramblings, I have left something out. My sister lost her husband to COVID a few months back. The circumstances are a bit suspect. It never should have happened. We are STILL trying to figure out what went wrong.

And we will probably never find out the truth.

Me too. I must be among the last few people to be vaccinated against it. My most recent smallpox vaccine was the same year it was declared eradicated.

Then you must be close to my daughter's age. My son (1975) got the vaccine, my daughter (1978) did not. I hsd a lot of anxiety about it. By golly, I wanted her vaccinated!
