I'm so old I Remember when:

I know it says July 4 but the rules still apply.

Ah, Y2K. The world was definitely going back to the Stone Age. I thought that was sort of idiotic. What was a computer going to do, reset itself to 1900 instead of 2000, realize it didn't exist, and self-implode? So I chose that day to fly back to Korea from NY.

The flight was blissful. There were so few people on that plane (3-4-3 seat configuration), whole row sections were empty. I sat at a window when I was awake, and in a middle section to sleep.
It was empty because so many people were afraid to fly ... y'know, all that Y2K air traffic control was SO gonna crash every plane that flew!

Thank you for this. You have no idea how needed this at this very moment. My brother and his wife are both fighting terminal cancer and my 92-year-old stepfather was hospitalized today with a very bad case of the flu.
We're going to be okay. Even if the healing doesn't come.

Happy New Year ❤️

I am so old that......I remember I had long ago stop do anything on my birthday....after all....my age is just a simple chronological number, I am still all that:old

I do whatever I please on any day, no need for birthday, no need to remind me how long since I joined planet earth:lau

As my chronological age get higher, I am getting more outrageous
:lau:old

Happy 2026
I count and claim every year! I worked hard to earn every one of these "Arctic Blonde" hairs. I PROUD of 'em!

Oddly enough, I remember my parents' phone number form the home I grew up in - because you had to actually dial each and every number to connect - but could not tell you anyone's cell number - not relatives, not friends, not work. Just a name on a screen that fits in the palm of my hand.
I remember being a walking phone book ... and having to sit on one (or two) to reach the table!
