As it turns out, she's an Amber link cockerel. Yes, you read it correctly; cockerel. He was practicing his crowing for the first time this morning. Everybody here knows that roosters and neighbors don't mix.

I'm so sad. I have to rehome him. Anyone know how I can get him the best home possible?

Good luck finding him a good home. You can also see if the Where are you section has a group near you and post it there. Also farmers are often willing. Hope you find an answer that works for you.

I have a friend who says you can "kapon" a roo and it wont crow. Kind of like neutering. Someone pretty experienced would have to do it though. Good luck.
