I totally know what you're talkin' about!!! We've been working on our coop in our garage for the past 4 weeks!!!We finally got it moved into place with help of some great friends!!!lol!! I'm so tired and my back is killing me, but it is so satisfying when a project gets finished, although I don't think you ever really finish these projects, DW wants flower boxes now!!!

Our labor of love...still got some trim to do, move in is scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend.

Chixmama - yep, the Ts are for the nipples that I'm still waiting for. I saw the design for the system on a coop built by a member named BankerJohn I believe - I tried to replicate it the best I could from the pictures. No idea if it will work. Crossing my fingers!

lilray - on the ends of the pipes inside the coop I will place these nipples. I've never used them before but apparently they work and then you don't have to clean out their waterer over and over again which I am finding to be the most frustrating part of owning chickens.

WV_Hillbilly70 - love your coop! your roof is pretty close to what I'm envisioning for mine. I'm thinking about continuing to feed the sickness and build a smaller coop for my bantams...I might do something similar to your design. Of course I have to sneak it past my husband somehow.
