How many chickens do you have and how cold does it actually get in the coop? It has been that for the last couple nights here, but it stays nice in their coop. In the 20's sa I hadn't had it in for a couple nights and everthing's fine here. It actually gave them a chance to sleep in the dark for a change.
I think you sould be alright. But if you're really concerned, just put in a regular house lamp. If you're concerned with it falling, rig it to the wall with string or something.
