Another question, it's been 2 days and I just got 1 more egg this evening. Is this how is usually starts? Sporadically???

Also, the egg was just laying in the run. Are they still trying to figure out where there suppose to lay?

Also, you may want to confine them to the coop and/or run where the nest boxes are located, at least for the earlier part of the day. Put some golfballs or fake eggs in the nestboxes so they know where to lay.....Then ask them to read the instructions in the chicken books.....just kidding....Try that for maybe a week to see if they use the nestboxes, hopefully it'll work...If you notice they lay later in the day you may have to adjust. Only one of my girls is laying but she is really good about the nestbox she started with. Hope the others will follow..
