I don't have any orps, but they creep into my thoughts. and I love the color crele. I've already got enough breeding projects...for now hehe.

I would also like to know what you are going to use for the cross?

The crele variety is built upon the wild type gene with the addition of the barring gene. If a person is going to make crele in orpingtons they would have to introduce the wild tpe gene from welsummer ( the only wild type large fowl I can think of at this time) and the barring gene from a cuckoo maran. That is if the breeder can not find a barred orpington.
