I'm stumped, getting more blue eggs than I have blue layers...

I'm stumped, I have two Easter Eggers. Two hens that could lay these colored eggs.

But somehow, I'm getting a green egg and three blue eggs in one day. And this is ongoing, not a one time thing.

Math at this level is easy, I should only be getting two colored eggs per day, at most. But instead, it's FOUR large colored eggs!!

What is going on? I have:

8 chocolate orpingtons
5 lavender orpingtons
5 buff Brahmas
4 rocks
3 leghorns
2 Easter Eggers (accounts for 2 of these 4 eggs)
and I have 2 bantys, neither these would lay an egg this large and they are laying off white/tan eggs...

Now, I am seeming to only get one white egg per day. I have three chickens who should be giving me a white egg, those leghorns. They do have a few black spots on them, but still a type of leghorn, I believe.

I know a chicken doesn't lay an egg everyday, I've had chickens for over 12 years. Leghorns should be laying better than all my other chickens, but they're not.

Would anyone know how I'm getting two more colored eggs than I have chickens that lay green/blue?

Again, I'm stumped.

The obvious answer is that two of your chickens are not what you think they are.

If you can separate one or a few hens at a time to see what color eggs they lay, you can probably figure it out pretty quickly. Or if you've got another pen and can split the flock in half, you could rule out half of them and then focus on the other half.

From that list, I think the "leghorns" or the "rocks" are most likely to include your stealth Easter Eggers, but I can't completely rule out any of them.

Maybe pen up the "leghorns" for a day or two, and see what color they are really laying?

From what you've said, I think two of them may be to blame.

If they lay blue or green eggs, then obviously they are some sort of Easter Egger and not actually Leghorns. Maybe someone has been crossing blue layers with Leghorns to get some better-laying Easter Eggers?

They could be these: https://www.freedomrangerhatchery.com/shop/product/easter-egger/
Hatcheries sell a few different Easter egger leghorn crosses. Also, the barred chicken in your picture isn’t a pure Plymouth rock.
That would sure be great, my kids picked these out from a farm store for me last year. They claimed they were listed as Easter Eggers but when I saw them I figured they were mislabeled. I put another thread about trying figure out what they were last April lol that would be great if this is what they are but still doesn't make sense if I'm getting a white egg from one. The link said they'd lay blue or not white.

The rock in the front is supposed to be a "rustic rock" whatever that technically is from the hatchery. That was another one of the kids pick, and I'm a chicken lover and couldn't say no.

Thank you.

I am going separate these few to see what they're giving me. Just was hoping someone on here would know "for sure" what these chickens really are.
